Just Jonesin' Commissary Kitchen (JJCK) provides a shared use commercial kitchen to local small businesses in Columbia, SC.
JJCK is open to servicing caterers, bakers, chefs, and mobile food trailer, truck and pushcart owners. Our mission is to increase the local food economy by supporting its producers.

Meet the Owner
I am Carena Jones
JJCK was founded by Carena and Bernard Jones in May 2023. Carena has always been passionate about good quality food and being of service to others. She has served the Midlands as a licensed social worker for the past 13 years. Previously she worked in the food industry for a number of years here in the Midlands and as far away as the Midwest in Illinois. Combining her two passions led her to opening a food truck, Just Jonesin', LLC, Home of the Loaded Stuffed Baked Potatoes in April 2022. After having a successful first year, she decided to build a commissary kitchen centrally located to offer other small food industry business owners an opportunity to create good quality food to serve the community and surrounding areas

The following information helps you to book our kitchen with ease:

Your membership fee is due the first of every month. Once your first month is paid, we will provide you with the form you will need to provide to DOA (previously DHEC) for your application
Our monthly membership fee includes access to waste water removal, trash disposal, and grease disposal
The monthly membership fee is $225 and this allows you to maintain your DOA Food Permit (previously DHEC). Failure to pay will terminate your membership with JJCK.
You will need to have $1,000,000 general liability insurance over your business and add our kitchen as an additional insured to your policy (once approved)
Use of the commercial kitchen as an hourly rental is $25/hour. You must be a member of JJCK to receive this price
